Hidden secrets of Veloskin

Ellen, from Team Boomp0ds, recently tagged us in a post and it caught our attention. So on the back of that, we asked her to write it down for us to explain a little more...
I thought it would be really easy to write up a little blog about my favourite Veloskin product. It has to be the Chamois Cream right? The only chamois cream that lasts the full length of a 4 hour ride and makes saddle sores a thing of the past. That's deffo my fave...

...But then on days where you decide to bother shaving your legs and you get to use THE MOST LUXURIOUS Shave Cream ever. (And I'm a girl so I've used loads of different ones) Even blunt razors can't hamper how nice that stuff feels on your legs. So that has to be my favourite...
...However, as someone who forgets to put sunscreen on on a regular bases when in sunnier climes, the absolute stand out for me has to be the cooling soothing gel. All the mentholy, eucalyptusy, minty freshness of that little pot of gold is the only thing that could soothe the burn!
But, we're in the middle of winter Ellen, how is that even useful?! Well... The other day, I discovered that the very same natural soothing effect that it has on sun inflicted predicaments, it also has on frost inflicted predicaments. Let me explain...
There's nothing worse than suffering with cold feet on a bike ride. Having that suffering extended off the bike by heating cold feet up too fast, resulting in chilblains is just too upsetting. And upset I was, those little hot, swollen chipolatas were agonising and I could barely get my feet into my shoes. So what did Google say was good for relieving the pain of chilblains? Eucalyptus! And what does the Veloskin Soothing Gel contain...? Exactly! The Relief!

I'm told it was originally developed to cool saddle sores and relieve any discomfort after long days in the saddle but honestly, I'd be very cautious letting it go near that general area, personally, if at all. However another wonderful use for it if you aren't fan of ice baths, is cooling hot swollen muscles.

Suffice to say that's my fave! So there you have it, my little rundown of what's good with Veloskin. Hopefully your winters and your summers are now pain free thanks to the little pot of Soothing Gel goodness!
Thanks for reading,
